Contact angle Analyzers

Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy
Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) is a type of atomic emission spectroscopy for the qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis of elements. By means of high-resolution spectrometers, the characteristic emission spectrum of an excited chemical element is measured like a fingerprint. With a wide range of applications in science and industry, LIBS is a versatile method providing material analysis in the ppm level and qualitative online process monitoring capabilities.

Multi-Parametric Surface Plasmon Resonance (MP-SPR)
Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) is an established method for biomolecular interaction analysis. It is popular due to its sensitivity and its real-time label-free principle. Multi-Parametric Surface Plasmon Resonance (MP-SPR) is based on SPR theory, however its advantageous optical setup measures a full SPR curve which enables new insight into interactions. For instance, PureKinetics™ feature that provides measurements of small molecules, lipids and biomaterials without bulk effect (typical DMSO artefact). MP-SPR widens the application range of traditional SPR from small molecules up to nanoparticles and even living cells. Measurements can be performed even in complex media such as serum.

Powder Flow Analyzers
Flow property measurements generally fall into two main categories: dynamic analysis and static analysis. Dynamic instruments measure flow properties as the test material is moving or is about to move. Static instruments measure powder that is not moving and typically has been exposed to pressure. For a complete picture of a material's flow behavior, both types of testers are required. For solving specific flow problems, usually one type of tester or test is required.

Scanning Kelvin Probes (SKP)
The Kelvin Probe is a non-contact, non-destructive vibrating capacitor device used to measure the work function (wf) of conducting materials or surface potential (sp) of semiconductor or insulating surfaces. The wf of a surface is typically defined by the topmost 1-3 layers of atoms or molecules, so the Kelvin Probe is one of the most sensitive surface analysis techniques available. KP Technology Systems offer very high wf resolution of 1-3 meV, currently the highest achieved by any commercial device.
